The Perigon Miami Beach is OMA’s first residential project in Miami Beach. The firm, founded by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Rem Koolhaas, designed the tower with a diamond-shaped footprint composed of layered volumes oriented to maximize simultaneous views of the Atlantic Ocean, Biscayne Bay, and the Miami skyline. The structural result — a concrete superstructure elevated above an open ground level on cylindrical columns — is now fully visible following the building’s topping out in March 2026.
Interiors are by Tara Bernerd & Partners, a London-based firm whose portfolio spans private yacht design, hospitality, and bespoke residential commissions. Her work at The Perigon introduces custom Italian kitchens with honed marble countertops, natural stone bathrooms, and 10-foot ceilings with floor-to-ceiling windows throughout each residence.
Landscaping is by Gustafson Porter + Bowman, the firm responsible for the public gardens surrounding the Eiffel Tower in Paris.
The culinary programming is anchored by Michelin-starred chef Shaun Hergatt, who leads both Nota, the building’s oceanfront dining venue, and FiftyThree, a residents-only lounge.
For buyers evaluating ultra-luxury condos in Miami Beach, the design team at The Perigon is notable for its coherence — each contributor operates at the top of their respective field, and the result is a building where architecture, interiors, landscape, and hospitality programming share a common standard.
